Currently taking new clients for Sex Therapy purposes, online only.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, specializing in trauma and Sex therapy, it has been my pleasure to serve and help clients for the past 17+ years. In my counselling career, I have seen adult clients (19+) to work through past traumas, work on their relationship with their own sexuality, and how it impacts them with others. If you wish to improve intimacy or sexual relationships, you’ve come to the right place.
It has been an honour to assist my clients in gaining the necessary insights about these issues, which have led to increased self-awareness, mental well-being and peace, greater capacity for positive, pleasurable sexual relationships/intimacy.
I am a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counsellors and Therapists (AASECT), and teach ‘Sexuality Development and Sex Therapy‘ in university Master of Counselling programs. I have also worked with First Responders, MCFD, and Justice System clients.
I have provided service as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS, BCACC) for Practicum students/agencies (12 years), and am a Clinical Consultant with private practice Counsellors. I have provided student adjudications and Clinical Supervision to students through Master of Counselling programs with: Adler University, City University – Vancouver & Victoria, the University of Victoria, and Yorkville University.
Prior to becoming a Counsellor, I was a Wellness Educator at the University of British Columbia, taught courses in Health Education and managed the student Wellness Centre, and have been a Provincial Consultant for various Health Promotion projects, including with Health Canada and the B.C. Ministry of Education.
With Masters’ degrees in Counselling Psychology and in Curriculum and Instruction, I have 40+ years of experience in the Health and Wellness field.
