I am currently seeing adult clients (19+) who wish to work on their relationship with their own sexuality, and individuals and couples who wish to improve their intimate/sexual relationships. Allow me to assist you in gaining the necessary insights about your sexual problems, which can lead you toward increased intimacy and more positive sexual experiences.

Much of my counselling work, for the past 15+ years, has focused on sex education and trauma such as sexual, physical and emotional abuse. I am a member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counsellors and Therapists (AASECT), and teach ‘Sexuality Development and Sex Therapy’ in university Master of Counselling programs. I have also worked with accident victims, First Responders, MCFD, and Correctional Services clients.

I also provide service as a Clinical Supervisor/Consultant for new counsellors and agencies, with BCACC’s ‘Approved Clinical Supervisor’ (ACS) status. I have provided clinical supervision to interns, through university Master of Counselling programs, for 10+ years.

Prior to becoming a Counsellor, I was a Wellness & Sex Educator at the University of British Columbia, teaching courses in Health Education and managing the student Wellness Centre, and have been a Provincial Consultant for various health promotion projects, including with Health Canada and the B.C. Ministry of Education.  With Masters’ degrees in Counselling Psychology and in Curriculum and Instruction, I have over 35 years of experience in the health and wellness field.
